Another Satisfied Customer

I was looking through the quarter horse sites when I spotted Davrac All That Gold. A beautiful photo of her running taken face on just took my breath away – she was the one. I contacted David and he was so friendly and helpful from the first contact. He sent me some recent photos and I just knew she was the one I had been looking for all my life.

I was skeptical buying Davrac All That Gold without a vet check or seeing her in person but from the moment she came off the truck she took my breath away. Everything David and Rachael had told me over the phone was exactly how she was. She was sweet with a gentle nature and her colour was golden with the longest white mane I had ever seen on a yearling. She has settled from day one and I look forward to starting our life together.

I highly recommend Davrac Quarter Horses for your future prospects. David and Rachael are friendly, honest and easy going, who have a love for the breed and their horses. They truly breed for temperament and performance in any discipline.

Davrac All That Jazz x Coliban Threebars Of Gold

The first foal sired by BugEye has finally hit the ground. This was the first offspring for both parents and we are extremely impressed by the quality. "Bella" was foaled at 1am and was up standing within 20mins. She is so quiet, nothing fazes this beautiful girl. We will be repeating this cross again this year.

25th August 2010

Coliban ThreeBars of Gold has been home from the breakers for 2 weeks and he is shaping up to be a super horse. He is so calm and nothing fazes him. Ridden alone or in company (even with our other stallion), he just plods along. His paces are so smooth and he is so soft in the hands. We are looking forward to a few more wet blankets and then undertake his training.

24th October 2009

On the 17th October our mare Justa Little Noble foaled a gorgeous filly, Star, to Milky Bar Walks On. Unforunately Star had problems and despite our immediate medical intervention she lost her will to live so we made the hard and gut-wrenching decision to lay her to rest.

RIP Little Star

Tears keep falling,
We wish you were here,
Our heart will ache for you,
Our precious dear.
Your still soft body
Tears us apart,
Why couldn't we save you,
With all the love from our heart?
Your hurt is finally gone,
You are no longer in pain,
We are losing my mind,
This makes me insane.
As we move on,
You do not drift from our mind,
Star, We will always think of you

27th February 2009
Davrac Quarter Horses are overwhelmed to announce that their 6 month old gelding, Davrac Heez All That, is on the road to recovery and we have been allowed to bring our very special boy home after a severe bout of colic. "Buddy" was diagnosed to be suffering from colic on Monday 23rd and after a very sleepless night walking him he was admitted to Dubbo Vet Hospital first thing Tuesday morning. Upon arrival he was place on an IV drip and given copious amounts of pain relief. With compromised bowel sounds and a heart rate hitting 110bpm it was going to be a long nervous wait. Around 11pm we received a call to say things were not good and a decision had to be made. Either go to surgery or sadly lay him to rest. We decided to heavily sedate him and see how he was in a few hours when we would make a decision. Over the next few hours Buddy showed his true fighting spirit and come morning, he was in a much happier space. From 5am that day he would remain drug free. Although he was not improving he was not getting any worse. Another day passed and the prognosis was grim. He had not produced a bowel motion for 3 days, his bowel sounds were not improving and he was becoming toxic. But things changed later that afternoon when the flood gates opened and he started to poop. Although he is not out of the danger zone completely yet, we were allowed to bring him home late Friday afternoon. The next few weeks will be telling, but we are hoping for a good outcome. We would like to give a huge heartfelt thank you to all the lovely staff at Dubbo Vet Hospital for the dedication and wonderful effort they put in to help save little Buddy.
